We are one of the few remediation contractors worldwide to have achieved certification to the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards for quality, environmental, and health and safety management.
RemedX is approved by Constructionline, the UK's register of prequalified local and national construction and construction-related contractors and consultants.
Waste carrier's licence
RemedX has a licence to operate as a waste carrier and broker.
Our mobile plant licence gives us authorisation to apply a wide range of on-site remedial technologies.
Waste Management Industry Training and Advisory Board
We have staff that hold a Certificate of Technical Competence (COTC) from WAMITAB.
Health and Safety Guidance 47
A significant number of our staff have undertaken two-day HSG 47 training to reduce the risks from underground utilities. Training included practical work on substation underground cable detection.
UK Spill Association
RemedX is a UK Spill Association accredited contractor.
Here at RemedX, some of our staff have obtained SPA passport training in order to gain a better understanding of their Health and Safety responsibilities.
Construction Skills Certification Scheme
By obtaining the CSCS certification, RemedX staff demonstrate that have a level of health and safety knowledge which is relevant to the construction industry.
Personal Track Safety
The PTS qualification allows for our staff to work on and near line owned or managed by Network Rail. Our staff practice the systems provided by this training to ensure a safer working environment.
Site Management Safety Training
The purpose of the Site Management Safety scheme is to provide health and safety training for our staff that are required to work at all levels on a construction site.
Scheme and Asbestos Awareness
The purpose of the Asbestos awareness training is to provide our staff with an understanding of the risks that come with being exposed to asbestos and how to deal with work which may involve asbestos-containing materials.
National Water Hygiene
The National Water Hygiene course is designed to allow our staff to operate in water treatment plants. The Water Hygiene Card is also referred to as ‘the blue water card’.
Basic Electrical Safety Competence for Access, Movement & Egress (BESC:AME)
The BESC:AME scheme allows our staff to carry out work on or near operational plant and equipment in electricity transmission.
